Matthews Family 2025
Highlights of our year included a Spring Break Florida trip to see Yankees Spring Training and Disney, celebrating Ann Martin’s 90th birthday in April, and our family vacation for a week on the Dover coast. This photo was from Sissinghurst in July.

Keller had a productive year with numerous Master Naturalist projects and some adventure travel. He enjoyed almost weekly visits to see Nonnie in Houston and local mountain bike rides with friends.

Connie continues to enjoy her work with Pattillo Brown and Hill. She prizes daily walks in the park and annual girls trips. She is the mastermind for travel, family celebrations, and finding opportunities to see grandkids in Austin.

The Iazzettis have been in Austin for two years and enjoy their new hometown. Emily loves her work at The Texas Tribune, which covered the Texas legislative session this year. Matt just finished his third football season with Longhorn Sport Properties and continues to coach the kids’ softball and baseball teams.
Paller played offense and defense on the 7th-grade football A-team and spent many weekends playing at select baseball tournaments. Ann enjoyed softball All-Stars and started competitive cheer. At school, she sang in the choir and served on safety patrol.

Tom and Robyn love their home in Colorado Springs. They come to Texas for family events and join us for trips. He continues to improve his competitive edge in bike polo (and computer science). Robyn is enjoying a new twist in her Physical Therapy career, working in orthopedic surgical hardware.

Grace, Tecuan, and Dia (3.5) love living in Austin, getting to spend time with family and friends in town, and taking trips to see the out of towners whenever they can.
Grace took a job with The University of Texas at Austin this year and is enjoying the change of pace from the law firm. Tecuan continues to enjoy chasing Dia on her bike while he can still keep up. Dia amazes them every day with her independence and sense of humor.

Gloria is still loving life in Austin, and she continues to enjoy her work at the Texas Education Agency. Highlights of the year included travelling to visit and celebrate with friends, picking up Dia from school on Thursdays, riding e-bikes to Barton Springs, hosting Thanksgiving, and attending as many line dance classes as possible. But the best part of 2025 started in October when Gloria and her partner Allison adopted their two new kittens, Shrimp and Fig, who have been a regular source of excitement.
